Anyone heard of this new platform 5 around and used it before. There seems to be new ones every time coming with their own unique problems, with dxtrade and tradelocker then matchtrader and now platform 5.

Platform 5 is the same as MT5.

Platform5 is another name for MT5. However, as props are not allowed to offer it under grey labels, they are trying to hide this with such tricks to mislead MQs compliance. I don’t think that it’s sustainable on the long term still for any prop that wants to offer MT5 access by partnering with a broker. We’ve seen examples of Ascendx and such recently which got slashed.

Thanks for this explanation. The funded trader finally gave me my account but have to start from phase 1 now and dont think ill pick this platform 5 just to go through the migration again to a different platform when things go wrong with it.
